As for Woods's swing, the only aspect in which I can agree the old swing might be better is in how hard and effortlessly he used to swing. In '97, he swing was a blur of precision, but now it seems much more conscious, measured, and controlled. It would seem raw talent, which guys like Els, Couples and Garcia have in abundance, isn't enough to play at the level of Woods. And since Woods's accomplishments are unprecedented, maybe all pro golfers should think about shaping their raw talent like he has.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7347482/115674129912467213/comments/default/115707237056803204'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7347482/115674129912467213/comments/default/115707237056803204'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.grouchygolf.com/2006/08/golf-gods-strike-tiger-but-he-still.html?showComment=1157072340000#c115707237056803204' title=''/><author><name>woundedduck</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/06177776572690738669</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.grouchygolf.com/2006/08/golf-gods-strike-tiger-but-he-still.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7347482.post-115674129912467213' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7347482/posts/default/115674129912467213' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1304691823'/></entry></feed>
