It is what it is, and since it is a tradition we'll just have to watch it and live on. Its not a big deal.<BR/><BR/>I'd also like to say that I don't mind Augusta's efforts to come off like the Disney World of golf. Sometimes I do think they go a bit far (for instance, keeping the commentators on edge), but The Masters is such a slice of Americana that I think it would be a mistake to try to deviate from the wholesome image.<BR/><BR/>As for Phil... I don't think its fair to single him out as a "phony". I don't think the fans see the REAL Tiger either. In an effort to prevent saying anything that could offend anyone, his interviews are so often brief and dry.
