I know this because my blog is lousy, and yet I would get 15 or more spam messages consistently until I took measures to prevent them.<BR/><BR/>I couldn't imagine how much spam this blog would get if it weren't moderated. I definately agree with Grouch on this topic.<BR/><BR/>As for the PGA Tour... I think very few golfers allow their real personality to be seen, because they do not want to risk losing their lucrative endorsement contracts. Yes, there are a few of them out there. Vijay Singh didn't care who he offended when he refused to play with Annika at the Colonial. But that was more of an exception than a rule.<BR/><BR/>As far as Phil is concerned (and I won't deny that I'm a fan of not only Phil, but the entire big 5, and most of the top 10), I am not completely sure that his smile is fake. I almost think that he seems somewhat aloof. Tiger is constantly aware of the present situation. The now. Phil's smile makes it seem as if his mind wanders when bad things happen to better times. I don't think its fair to single him out as a "phony". I don't think the fans see the REAL Tiger either. In an effort to prevent saying anything that could offend anyone, his interviews are so often brief and dry.
