Thanks for sharing some truth about phil. I never like him. Tiger's father was passing during the masters and instead of saying best of wishes to Tiger and his family, the jerk says, "we all have issues". One day very soon he too will learn the pain of loosing a loved one. Then again without a heart he probably wouln't care if he accidentally ran over his own mother.

YOU GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF HATERS! WHO GIVES A DAMN WHAT CLUB MAKER PHIL ENDORSES?!? HE IS A GREAT PLAYER, & CALLAWAY SUPPORTS A TON OF GREAT PLAYERS...Plus all you Titleist Fiends still have Big Ernie, Davis Love III, ect. Everyone needs to stop and get back to enjoying the game (and the players) for what it is, by not getting hung up on golf indrustry's marketing of our best players!

I remember an interview with Davis Love a good while back. He was talking about his contract with Titleist and how, at one point, he was worried that they might drop him from the brand because of his poor play. He talked to Wally at Titleist and was told not to worry about it. He had done a lot for Titleist as a company and for the game and they would carry him as long as he wanted. After that DL3 won the Major. When asked if he tried to renegotiate, he said no way. He said, "They carried me while I was stinkin' it up, it would be wrong to go and try to up the money once I start winning." Davis showed his character and class in doing this, quite the opposite of Mr. Mickelson.

In my opinion, Phil is not worthy of Titleist.

Its ironic that he's ditching the very clubs that yielded his first major after years of choking. I think he should worry less about his clubs and more about those parachutes he wears as shirts. Comeon Phil, its either a long or shirt sleve shirt, you can't have it both ways.

I am a fan of Mickelson, but I don't like this move at all. It is bad business and it is bad for his game. One thing we can be assured of though is that he won't be playing the Callaway "shovels" (I prefer the term "battle axe"). I bet he continues to play forged blades by Titleist or Hogan (a subidiary of Callaway) until Callaway builds a forged iron for him.

Phil is such a hypocrit. He called Colin Montgomery's Callaway Irons "shovels" during a round. Now, Callaway is Phil's pimp. The media has done a great job of trying to make him sound like some sort of hero for winning the Masters. The only reason everyone was pulling for him is because he's an American, and maybe because his wife was ill. I'm sure that Justin Leonard, DLIII, DD, or Freddie would have had as much, if not more, support. And, how un-athletic was that jump when he sank the putt on 18 at Augusta? Now that he's won a major, he's forgetting the people who, and the equipment that, got him there. Phil's move to Callaway is so "Hollywood," like when Jim Carey left his wife after he made it big, or when Jimmy Kimmel did the same thing. Phil says he wants to be the #1 player in the world, so he changes equipment? Wasn't he also criticizing Tiger's equipment, and, if memory serves, Wasn't Tiger #1 since Michelle Wie was still in diapers?
